Foundation Course in Crystal Therapy

The HCCH Foundation course in Crystal Therapy is ACHO (Affiliation of Crystal Healing Organisations) accredited and covers all of the essential training and techniques needed to qualify you as a Crystal Therapist (Level 1). On successful completion you will be eligible to be included on ACHO’s Professional Practitioner Register at Foundation level.

Length of course

This training takes place over five days (10am – 5pm).

Following on from their training, students are required to produce a portfolio of work as evidence they have reached the professional standards set by ACHO.

Course Fees

The cost of the course is £350 (but this may vary depending on the location). A non-refundable deposit of £50 is payable as soon as you enrol on the course. The remaining £300 is due on the first day of the course or can be paid for in monthly installments of £50.

Assessment criteria

No prior knowledge of crystals is required and students are supported and assessed during their training. In order for students to receive the Foundation certificate they must attend all five classes, demonstrate their competence during practical sessions, and produce a portfolio containing the following:

  • Completed question sheets covering the ACHO Foundation core curriculum
  • Copies of ten journal entries evidencing their work with crystals
  • Five case studies
  • Evidence of at least 35 hours Anatomy and Physiology(*) training

* Some students may have completed Anatomy and Physiology training previously and are asked to produce a copy of their certificate for their portfolio. For those who have not studied Anatomy and Physiology, a home study course is available for an additional £50. Details of other recommendations will be given out on the first day of the course.

Certificate and Diploma Training

Please note you do not have to attend the Foundation training before enrolling on a Certificate or Diploma course. However if you do complete the Foundation (Level 1) and you wish to further your training then you can attend a 5-day Upgrade course to bring you up to Certificate (Level 2). An additional 12 day course after that would enable you to achieve the Diploma (Level 3).

  • The inportance of the subtle bodies
  • Techniques to repair the aura

Day 3

  • Chakra theory
  • Advanced chakra balancing techniques
  • Working with pendulums
  • Record keeping

Day 4

  • Grounding and centering
  • Identifying quartz Master teachers
  • Understanding technical terms
  • The full crystal therapy proceedure

Day 5

  • Enhanced crystals v natural crystals
  • Toxic crystals and chemical composition
  • Health and safety issues
  • What to do if there is a healing crisis
